First “La Pierrade” restaurant on Portuguese soil opens in Albufeira

With the opening of a "La Pierrade" restaurant franchise in the heart of Albufeira, the famous French franchise brand has finally found its way to Portugal.

David Mejean, a French national from the city of Lyon, has previously worked with this brand and has always liked the friendly and cozy atmosphere created by this restaurant concept. Married to an Algarvian woman from Pêra, he decided in early 2018 to sell his business in France and move to the beautiful Algarvian coast.

He contacted Belalgarve Consultants in June, with the instruction to find the most suitable property for his project. Belalgarve quickly identified a closed restaurant on Albufeira's Avenida da Liberdade as the ideal location for such a project and negotiations began quickly afterwards.

The deal was concluded with the professionalism of partnering Real Estate agency Algarmed Imobiliária. La Pierrade Albufeira opened its doors on December 10th of last year, only months after David's decision to open this business in the Algarve.

With the "La Pierrade" -concept, a meal with family or friends becomes a moment of conviviality and shared pleasure. The preparation is so simple and fast, that the person who prepares the meal has nothing else to do during the meal than to share this moment with others.
